The Villa Walsh Athletic Leadership Council (ALC) provides student-athletes in grades 9-12 with an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills in monthly meetings.
The monthly sessions include interacting with guest speakers, collaborating, and developing skills to become better leaders on and off the field. Members work together to plan fun school-wide events, including Villa’s Night In and Movie Night, throughout the academic year. Interested students can apply for membership in May of each year.
Our Mission
To identify student leaders from grades 9-12 in an effort to strengthen the selection of team captains and team leaders as well as to cultivate a community of leaders within the school.
ALC Activities
The entire student body comes together for an evening of socialization, fun activities, food trucks, and relaxation.
The whole school is invited to an outdoor movie experience. Park your car, pop your trunk, and join your friends to enjoy delicious treats and a great movie.
Annual field trips include inspiring speakers and engaging activities aimed at developing students' leadership qualities.
The ALC coordinates student volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
We encourage peers to become leaders, guide teammates through academic and athletic challenges, and be positive role models for all.
