National Girls and Women in Sports Award 2024

Congratulations, Delaney Caughey!

The National Girls and Women in Sports Day is celebrated in NJ each year in February at Seton Hall University. Female athletes from New Jersey's 2 & 4-year colleges & universities, and high schools along with women in the field of athletics are honored for their accomplishments, sportsmanship, and efforts at a luncheon. This year,Villa Walsh was represented by senior athlete Delaney Caughey, who was nominated & voted to represent VWA by the coaches and athletic staff. We congratulate Delaney and are proud of her sportsmanship, leadership and participation in sports during her four years at VWA.
