Each Villa Walsh Academy application is valued and reviewed with great care. To ensure that each student is given every opportunity to thrive, our process focuses on finding the right fit for every student applicant. A typical Villa student is a college-bound candidate who demonstrates proficiency in academic subjects.

Yearly, we accept applications from students entering Grades 7 and 9, and applicants for all other grades are considered when space is available. As you begin the application process, please make note of the deadlines and Entrance Test dates. Beginning in mid-October, a weekly application file update will be emailed to the applicant by the admissions office. 1) Register for Entrance Test
  • Applicants are required to take the Villa Walsh Academy Entrance Test, which consists of three parts IQ, reading comprehension and  basic math.
  • You may register for the test online by completing the Entrance Test Registration Form. These tests are administered on campus only.  
  • A reminder will be sent approximately one week prior to the test.    
  • All exams will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled test.

2) Submit Application

3) Submit Additional Application Information

School Transcript - Report Cards and Standardized Test Scores. Please send the transcript release form (first green link below) to the applicant's current school. The applicant's current school may upload the transcript to our website (second green link below) or email to [email protected].

Two Letters of Recommendation - One letter from a current or previous year's teacher, principal, or guidance counselor; one letter from outside the community (pastor, athletic coach, music teacher, family friend, dance instructor, etc.) The recommendation letters should be submitted in a letter format.

4) Parent/Prospective Student Interview

Scheduled by the school once the completed application, entrance test and additional information is received.

5) Shadow Day

After interviewing, each applicant has the option to schedule a shadow day to experience what VWA has to offer. While not a requirement in the application process, shadowing allows prospective students to experience a typical day at the school.
