At Villa Walsh, we believe that our girls are blessed with the God-given potential to make the world a better place.
Our idyllic 120-acre campus provides the perfect environment for our girls to develop their talents and skills inside and outside the classrooms. Walk around the campus on any given autumn day and you will find Villa girls either preparing for the next Robotics competition, organizing collected items from a recent fundraiser, or running the hilly Villa campus to get ready for their upcoming cross-country meet, among many activities. Our campus is a place for Villa girls to learn, experiment, worship and grow as they prepare for college and beyond.
Here are some interesting data points from the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools on an all-girls education:
- Nearly half of all women graduating from single-sex schools rate their public speaking ability as high compared to 39% of women graduates from coed schools
- 64% of girls’ school graduates assess their writing as high compared to 59% of women graduates of coed schools
- 95% of students feel supported by their teacher compared to 84% of girls at coed schools
- 93% of girls’ school grads say they were offered greater leadership opportunities than peers at coed schools and 80% have held leadership positions since graduating from high school
At Villa Walsh, we believe that her future is our mission!
