Villa Walsh Academy offers a college preparatory Catholic school education for young women in Grades 7 through 12. Steadfast in its commitment to educate young women as envisioned by St. Lucy Filippini, the founder of The Institute of the Religious Teachers Filippini, Villa Walsh Academy’s community seeks to inspire our young women to expand their intellectual breadth and depth, to enhance their sense of local and global concern, and to empower them to influence their world in a Christian manner.

Programs
College Preparatory, Honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered to challenge each student as she discovers and develops her talents. Small classes provide the framework for group discussion and individualized learning.
VWA Sisters 1st Robotics Competes at Worlds
Twelve members of the Villa Walsh Robotics Team recently traveled to Houston to compete against more than 600 of the top teams in the world. In a highly competitive division, the team finished qualification rounds with an impressive 8–2 record, placing 7th, and achieved a program-high score of 803 points.
As Captain of Alliance 6, Sisters 1st partnered with top-ranked teams from China and Kansas and advanced to the second round of playoffs. Their exceptional engineering earned them the prestigious Industrial Design Award.
The team concludes a remarkable season with a 50–13 record, ranking 2nd in New Jersey, 49th nationally, and 67th globally. Notably, Sisters 1st earned an award at every competition this season—an achievement accomplished by only 45 teams in history.

My foreign language education at Villa Walsh was essential for my current profession.
