Villa Walsh is dedicated to supporting the physical well-being of our students and student-athletes by offering year-round strength and conditioning programs. Our certified coaches collaborate with our sports coaching staff to design customized training programs for specific sports and weekly workout schedules to help students enhance their overall physical fitness. Our focus is on laying a solid foundation, educating about the body, and nurturing confidence so that our students grasp the lasting benefits of embracing a healthy lifestyle. During the summer, we provide strength and conditioning programs to all Villa Walsh students and athletes at no extra cost, removing the need for them to seek training at private facilities.
Strength and Conditioning is offered to all students and faculty members on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All sessions are from 3:30-4:30 during the school year.
Villa Walsh believes in caring for the body, mind, and spirit. Through weekly Yoga classes, students and faculty are guided by certified Yoga teachers in poses, breathing, and mindfulness. Beginners and experienced yoga students benefit from the weekly classes offered on campus in the Sr. Doris Lavinthal Athletic Center.
Yoga is offered on Tuesdays. All sessions are from 3:30-4:30.
