Coach Cassidy is in his first year coaching at Villa Walsh Academy. He began his soccer coaching career in 2001 when he received his first coaching license while playing in the Scottish system. He started working with Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, which is considered to be one of Scotland's top feeder clubs for the production of professional players and eventually became the U19 men's coach. After arriving in New Jersey, he gained experience working with high level soccer players who went on to become top college and professional athletes before establishing his own coaching company, The Scottish Football Academy, in 2011. Mark later merged his company to form Centercourt Soccer/Sports in 2012. In April 2020, he went on to establish The Football Academy NJ, which is now regarded as one of the top youth development clubs in the eastern region. |
