Steve Summerer brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Director of Security at Villa Walsh Academy since 2017. With a career spanning over three decades in law enforcement, Steve has made a significant impact on campus safety and student education.. Steve's commitment to student well-being is evident through his multifaceted role at Villa Walsh Academy. In addition to his responsibilities as Director of Security, Steve teaches drivers education, imparting crucial skills to students as they prepare for their independence on the road. He also addresses vital topics such as online and personal safety, as well as strategies for avoiding drugs and alcohol, ensuring that Villa Walsh students are informed and equipped to make responsible choices. Before joining Villa Walsh Academy, Steve served with distinction in the Morris Township Police Department, where he spent 30 years protecting and serving the community. His tenure included membership in the Morris Township Special Operations Unit and a pivotal role as a school resource officer in the Morris School District.
